The hair is the first thing that catches the eye, I'll admit. I do love the way that you've used it to form shapes not unlike the rays of the sun, making her a symbol of the name you've given her. And the makeup is simply lovely. The coloring under the eyes makes it seem very much like she's crying - as though a rain after a summer storm. The lion medallion along the belt is also a beautiful touch.

With the rosebud necklace and the grandiose skirt, the doll gives me a feeling of an older age. It's a wonderful work - thank you for sharing it!
